Deluxe Getaway at Crown Regency Resort Boracay with Unlimited Use of Wave Surf Pool

Boracay is one of my dream vacation destination ever since I'm a student. So when Lyndon, me and Jun2x had a chance to book a flight to Boracay last year, we opted to choose to stay in a well under par and fabulous perks of Crown Regency Boracay Resort & Convention Center for an overnight retreat with unlimited use of wave surf pool for P3,999 instead of P7500.
Why choose Crown Regency Boracay Resort & Convention Center?

Its impressive 1,800sqm. wave swimming pool, kiddie pool and a country's first surfing pool were the consideration for choosing the hotel because we wanted to experience the thrill and wild of Water Adventures, Wave Rider, Tsunami Wave Pool and the Giant Slide and all the amenities and services of a world-class facility for our very discerning leisure travel this time.

The hotel is a 4 hectare property located at the Main Road of Station 2.

From Kalibo Airport, we travel via airconditioned van to Caticlan Jetty Terminal and took a boat transfer to Station 2 of Boracay Island

Upon check-in at 2:00 p.m., we were ushered by a friendly and accommodating staff to our  Deluxe Room for 4 persons. The room is tastefully decorated air-conditioned room with veranda, fully equipped with amenities.

Amenities

* Two (2) Full-sized Posture-pedic beds

* Air-conditioned Rooms with Kitchenette
* In-room internet access (charges may apply)
* 32-inch LCD Cable TV with Remote
* Full bath with hot & cold water
* Check-in Time: 02:00 P.M.
* Check-out Time: 12:00 P.M.

 The next day, after greeting the morning, we went to explore the hotel facilities and services including the pool

Note:

I don't encourage you to have a henna tattoo or dye your hair and make stains on the linens and towels because the hotel will charge.

We were ask to deposit 3 thousand but was returned upon check out when they checked the room and no stains found.

If we choose to spend one more time at Boracay, I would still want to enjoy my stay in this hotel. The fun is complete and I want to experience more the other facilities and amenities offered by Crown Regency Resort & Convention Center

Hotel Centro, Puerto Princesa's top-notch Hotel

Our stay in Puerto Princesa was made more memorable by Hotel Centro, a classy and high-end accommodation in the city.

Our van arrived at Puerto Princesa from El Nido at around 12midnight. The hotel staff was warm to welcome us & quick in giving us our room and bring our bags to our room.

Why Stay at Hotel Centro?

Located at the heart of Puerto Princesa- Hotel Centro, a top-notch Hotel is perfect for travellers, businessmen, local and visitors of Puerto Princesa. Its location is just perfect - from the name itself - Centro - where all the business districts are located. You can just take a walk or ride a tricycle to Robinsons Mall Palawan ( which is just a 5-minute walk).

In terms of service, their customers are truly well taken cared off. We also received Welcome drinks and the hotel staff made us feel comfortable, and I was just not their guest but a new found friend.

We really appreciate our room which is a deluxe triple sharing. The queen-size bed had more than enough space for two persons and was really needed for our deserving goodnight's rest and comfortable sleep. Even the single bed had more than enough space also for another person.

Our room are equipped with all the things we needed for our stay:

  • Cable television
  • Air-Conditioning
  • Telephone
  • Mini-Bar

  • Safety and Security deposit box
  • Private T&B w/ hot & cold water.
  • I so loved the Pure Herbs organic bath essentials

Breakfast at Expressions Cafe

The accommodation includes free buffet breakfast. We had an early meal at Expressions Cafe since the van rode us to the Underground River at 7am. The breakfast buffet had an array of nostalgic dishes and does put a sweet start to our day of adventure. Not to mention, Expressions Cafe also looked impressive. It has a special view of its swimming pool garden.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay at Hotel Centro. We had a very short stay at Hotel Centro but definitely we are planning to go back to Puerto Princesa since we missed the City Tour.

5 days / 4 nights Manila Trip [DAY 1]

For the foodies like us who love to travel and save, the best way to try the interesting foods in Metro Manila is to check first the current online deals and food reviews before you buy discount vouchers. Check out sites like MetroDeal, CashCashPinoy, Ensogo.
This story is not a paid post and purely straight from my opinion including my photos during the trip.

We received an invitation months ahead to attend the wedding of Edward Layson the cousin of Lyndon (husband) at Santuario de San Antonio Parish Church at Forbes Park, Makati City on Sept. 7, 2012. So we booked our flights and hotel accommodation earlier to avail promo seat sale at Cebu Pacific Air and Go Hotels lower hotel rates.

Our itinerary lasted 5 days starting September 5 to 9.

Day 1 -For the Foodies [Septermber 5, 2012 Wednesday]

9:55AM - Lyndon and I decided to booked a flight that Sept.5 to do a leisurely trip and adventure at Metro Manila. We arrived an hour before our flight and proceed to check-in area of flight 5J960 from Francisco Bangoy International Airport (Davao) bound for Manila at 10:55 am. We paid a terminal fee of P200. If you have no check-in luggage, better do web check-in to avoid a long queue for check-in baggage.

12:50 PM- We arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) Terminal 3 and waited for our bag to be claimed at the baggage area.

1:00 PM- Since already past 12:00 noon and hungry, we head on the way in the end of the hall at the right side of NAIA 3 straight to Burger King. Their BBQ Chicken is so enticing so we ordered 2 value meal BBQ Chick worth P288 with drinks and fries. The good thing about Burger King is you can ask for a free massage at the back. Although, service still needs improvement because staff aren't focused on taking orders and it takes time to arrive.

1:50 pm- Take a NAIA yellow metered taxi going to Go Hotels at Edsa.

2:15 pm- Check-in at Go Hotels (Robinsons Cybergate Plaza in Edsa) Note: Check-in time is 2pm.

3:00 pm -At Forum Robinsons Supermarket on the way to MRT Boni Avenue Station.

3:20 pm- At MRT Boni Avenue Station, never miss the Siomai House food cart, the best tasted siomai.

 Then fall in line at the MRT Boni Avenue ticketing area and pay for a stored card value ticket that will only cost P100 for a convenient travel using the multiple journey ticket.

3:40 pm - Arrived at MRT Ortigas Station and walk straight to 5th Floor, SM Megamall Bldg. B. to Taco Mismo that serve crisp and deliciously appetizing Mexican Flavors of Taco Bulilit and Taco Gusto. Tasty tacos made of maize tortilla shells deep fried to a crisp, seasoned ground beef, delectable creamy cheese sause and yummy yellow cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce and zesty salsa. We ordered 10 pcs of Taco Bulilit (P28) and 4 pieces of Taco Gusto (P55).  Total value is P500 but we paid using our Metrodeal voucher value of P300 only.

4:30 pm -Take the MRT Station going to MRT Taft Avenue station and ride a taxi bound for SM Mall of Asia.

4:41 pm - Arrive at Ibayo by Barrio Fiesta at the seaside bay of SM MOA. Ibayo by Barrio Fiesta offered Unlimited Chicken-All-You-Can. From Mondays to Sundays starting 4pm until 10PM only.

FOOD: We enjoyed their heavenly delicious & mouthwatering chicken paired with Pepsi Max & 7Up beverage for our voucher to be valid worth P900.
SERVICE: Staff really needs customer service improvement especially if you're using vouchers.
PLACE: Needs a bit of an effort to tidy up the place. Best for swinging by after a shopping or a busy day at the office, this place is ideal for family bonding or hanging out with friends by the bay.Redeem the Unlimited Chicken-All-You-Can and ordered softdrinks for Metrodeal voucher worth P900 to be valid.

7:57 pm - Take out 3 cones of piping hot flavored nuts at The Nutty Bavarian ( Ground Floor, near SM Ice Skating Ring SM Mall of Asia Pasay City; Tel: 0932-846-3198/254-6944; Operating hours: Monday to Sunday, Mall Hours) Our favorite snack is nuts and so we need to try this deliciously healthy flavored  fresh roasted nuts w/out using any oil. To satisfy our cravings, we ordered a cone of these piping hot Cinnamon Glazed Almonds, Cinnamon Glazed Cashews and Cinnamon Glazed Peanuts for a total Ensogo voucher value of P400.

The Nutty Bavarian is successfully operating in 15 countries, parts of USA and more than 30 stores in JAPAN. Now, they bring it here in the PHILIPPINES.

9:21 pm - Take a taxi to proceed at Pioneer Centre, Pioneer Ave., Bo. Kapitolyo, Pasig City to redeem our 90 minutes Foot Pampering with Foot Spa, Scrub, Pedicure and Massage at Nail Files after a long and tiring day of strolling and eating. Totally 100% natural therapy with healing benefits for the long day walk and 1st day adventure in Manila. My feet feel softer and healthier than before. We enjoyed the calm, relaxing and accommodating staff of Nail Files. They even served us with a hot tea. Best suitable for men and women after a busy day at the office or after a whole day shopping.

11:30 pm - Take a walk heading to Robinsons Cybergate Plaza and dropped by Banchetto Forum, the first and the original overnight food fiesta that's open every Wednesday & Thursday Night from 8:30 pm- 6:00 am

12:00 Midnight - Arrive at Go Hotels and take a rest for the day.
